Rep. Todd Akin is on the Mike Huckabee show, and opened with this:

"I made a couple of serious mistakes here...I need to apologize.

"Let me be clear: Rape is never legitimate.

"This was a very, very serious error...We all make mistakes."

He was asked about leaving the race and said no. "By the grace of God we're going to win this race."
