Missouri Sen. Roy Blunt has reversed course and is backing Todd Akin for the U.S. Senate.

But fellow Republican Jack Danforth won't be joining him.

"I cannot support Todd Akin," Danforth said in Columbia.

Three other former Missouri senators also came out against Akin last month in a bid to get him out of the race. They were Jim Talent, Kit Bond, John Ashcroft. No word yet on whether they are reconsidering their positions, too.
