The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee has told the FEC it has spent $748,097 in a media buy to oppose Rep. Todd Akin, the Republican in the Missouri Senate race.

There are also some production costs not included in that figure.

The National Republican Senatorial Committee has so far adhered to its pledge not to buy TV time in the race, although it did issue a news release this week.
