Campaign season is here, which means the sign trolls will be out in force during the next couple of weeks and apparently they're already getting pretty creative.
Sign stealing is relatively common, but some vandals found a different (but probably more time consuming) way of going after their opponents' signs: With a knife or scissors.
This sign was posted by the campaign of Johnson County Commission Candidate Terry Presta. The sign is still in place, but his last name has been cut out. Who has time to stand near a busy city street cutting apart a campaign sign?
While Presta is not accusing anyone of damaging his sign, it doesn't take much of logical leap to guess that someone doesn't like him.
Presta, a former state representative who built the Presto convenience store chain, is running for the District 3 seat against Mike Lally, Steve Klika and Ben Hodge.
