Kansas Congressman Kevin Yoder and other GOP officials will attend a send-off ceremony for two chartered buses at 7:30 a.m. Saturday in the parking lot of the Republican Third District Victory center at the southeast corner of Roe and College Boulevard in Leawood.

The Kansans will be knocking on doors in the Des Moines area during the day Saturday.

The buses are to load between 7:30 and 8 with a planned departure at 8 a.m.

Iowa, of course, is a pivotal swing state.
