Incomplete results showed voters poised to approve all judges serving the Kansas City area who had retention elections Tuesday in Kansas and Missouri.
In addition, nine candidates, all Democrats, won election unopposed in Wyandotte County.

Appeals court judges Cynthia Lynette Martin, Thomas H. Newton and Gary D. Witt.
Clay County Circuit Court judges Anthony Rex Gabbert and Larry D. Harman, and associate judge Janet L. Sutton.
Jackson County Circuit Court judges Justine E. Del Muro, James F. Kanatzar, Charles H. McKenzie, Marco A. Roldan, Jack Grate, Kenneth R. Garrett, Vernon E. Scoville, Robert L. Trout.
Platte County Circuit Court judges Abe Shafer, Lee Hull, Thomas C. Fincham and Dennis C. Eckold.
Retained in Kansas:
Supreme Court Justice Nancy L. Moritz.
Appeals court judges Steve Leben, G. Joseph Pierron Jr., David E. Bruns, G. Gordon Atcheson, Karen Arnold-Burger and Richard D. Greene, whose name remained on the ballot even though he died in early October.
