Kobach is hot interview in Tampa

The Kansas City Star

Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach is making the media rounds.

He appeared with Geraldo Rivera Monday morning, as part of a series of interviews this week on “radio row.”

Rivera opposes Kobach’s tough stance on illegal immigration, but still praised him as “engaging” and “one of the most intriguing political figures in the country today” while mentioning Kobach's education at Yale, Harvard and Oxford.

Rivera’s first question to Kobach:

Does your immigration stance win your party votes or lose them?

Said Kobach: “The instinct of Americans of every party and every race and every ethnic group is yes, let's enforce our laws. So I actually do think it helps our party and helps our candidate.”
