New Missouri poll continues to show Romney-Obama in close race

The Kansas City Star

The right-leaning Rasmussen Reports released a poll today showing Mitt Romney only narrowly ahead of Barack Obama in Missouri.

While the state is viewed as a likely pickup for Romney, Rasmussen said Romney leads 48-45 percent, well within the poll's 4.5 percent margin error.

The poll's margin of error suggest that Romney could be leading by double-digits -- or Obama could be ahead.

Rasmussen concluded that Romney holds a "modest" lead over Obama.

This Missouri survey of 500 likely voters was conducted on Tuesday.
